After a long wait, Google finally launches it’s Books service in India. And Android users in India can now use the app on their devices to read and buy books.
This morning, when I turned on the wifi on my phone to check for app updates, a Play Store tab popped up asking me to accept some terms and services. I just thought the Play Store app might have been updated again and tapped on accept.
And what a surprise I got, when I saw the Books tab was available on my Play Store’s homepage. Immediately I downloaded the app and installed it on my phone.
(Note the time when I took the screenshot, around 8 AM.)
But I didn’t see the Books tab on my Nexus 7, so what I had to do was, search the Play Store for “Google Books” and it showed mme the app was disabled, all I had to click was enable and presto it worked.
Tip: The app is called “Play Books”, so don’t keep searching for an icon named “Books or Google Books”
