We all expect Google to roll out the next version of Android soon, most probably at the Google I/O event which is just two weeks away.Even though there is no official information about the next Android version release, few screenshots tweeted from official Google account is raising few eybrows and most probably hinting that the next major upgrade of Android will be Android 5.0 and not Android 4.5.
Google twitter handle tweeted on how to get the latest WorldCup match scores and schedules with Google Now on iOS and Android using few Google Now screenshots. Even though nothing special about these screenshots except the time that is being shown on the Nexus 5 in those screenshots. The time shows “5:00″ in those screenshots as highlighted above and if you have observed keenly the screens during any of the Nexus devices launch, you will know that the time shows the Android version and in this case here it may be a hint at Android 5.0.

For those of you who didn’t observe this small fact, take a look at Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 images which are still used in Google Play Store. Both the devices show the time as exact Android versions that they shipped with i.e Nexus 4 with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and Nexus 5 with Android 4.4 kitkat.
What do you think? We will update you as and when we hear anything more about it. Stay tuned.
