Barely half an hour after the game was available at the Amazon Appstore, Rockstar Games have published the game onto Google Play
And the Android version of the game’s download size is bigger than the iOS version.
The iOS version weighs a 1.6GB download, where as the Android version is nearly 800MB bigger at 2.4GB.
I suppose they could have optimized it for Android device GPUs better. GTA San Andreas is regarded by most fans as the best title in the franchise, and I heartily agree. I still play the PC version of the game.
While we cannot mod the cars and characters in the Android version, seeing one of the best games ever ported to our beloved platform is very satisfying.
Allow me to quote the game’s features once again:
• Remastered, high-resolution graphics built specifically for mobile including lighting enhancements, an enriched color palette and improved character models.
• Cloud save support for playing across all your mobile devices for Rockstar Social Club Members.
• Dual analog stick controls for full camera and movement control.
• Three different control schemes and customizable controls with contextual options to display buttons only when you need them.
• Compatible with the MoGa Wireless Game Controllers and select Bluetooth and USB gamepads.
• Integrated with Immersion tactile effects.
• Tailor your visual experience with adjustable graphic settings.
The game is available in seven languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian & Japanese.
And unlike the Amazon Appstore, the game is indeed compatible with the Nexus 7 2012.
