Honor India has officially launched its first 16nm chipset based phone, the Honor 5c, in India. AndroidPure was at the launch event in Delhi today, and here is what you need to know about the new device from Huawei’s subsidiary company.
The Honor 5c sports a full metal design, with aircraft grade aluminum.
The phone features a 5.2 inch 1080p Full HD display, and is powered by an in-house Octa-core Kirin 650 processor with a Mali T830 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The phone runs on EMUI 4.1 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0. Storage options on the device includes 16GB of internal memory.
In the photography department, the Honor 5C adorns a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, and an 8 megapixel front camera. The phone comes with a rear facing finger print scanner, and is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.

The Honor 5C will be available in three colours: Gold, Silver and Grey.
Huawei has priced the Honor 5C at Rs 10999 in India. The phone will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, and Honor India’s webstore. The first flash sale for the Honor 5c will be held on June 30th, and the registrations for the same will begin today (June 22) from 2:00 PM.
