Huawei has officially launched its Honor 5X phone at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas.
And here are the device’s technical specifications.
The Honor 5X sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p IPS display, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor along with 2GB of RAM. The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage, and supports expandable memory thanks to a microSD card slot.
The photography options on the Honor 5X include a 13 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 28mm wide-angle lens, a blue glass infrared filter, macro mode, SmartImage 3.0 image processor, anti-reflective coating on the lens. The selfie lens is a 5 megapixel front camera with an f/2.4 aperture, 22mm wide-angle lens and an 88-degree viewing angle.
The device sports a full metal aluminum body with brushed finishing and a curved design. The Honor 5X comes with a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear, and touted to have a 0.5-second unlocking time.It also has adaptive learning to enhance the scanning accuracy over time, and also supports gesture controls for making a call, launching an app, taking photos and more even when the device is locked.
The phone is backed by a 3000 mAh battery, and supports Dual SIM cards (Nano and micro SIM).
The Honor 5X has been priced at $199.99 in the US and will be available on Amazon.com, Newegg.com and HiHonor.com/us, from January 31. The phone comes in three colors: Gold, Silver and Grey.
