Honor is set to announce another entry-level smartphone Honor 8A on January 8 which is still three days away, yet the company has decided to officially list it on their store with all the details like render images, specifications and price. The official China store listing also includes a pre-order option which can be done by depositing 1-20 Yuan.
The official listing reveals that Honor 8A sports a 6.09-inch HD+ Display with a resolution of 1560 × 720 pixels with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. It is powered by 2.3GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6765 (MediaTek Helio P35) Processor along with 3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage up to 512GB via MicroSD cards. It runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system.
In terms of camera, it features a 13MP main rear camera having an f/1.8 aperture with LED flash while on the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera having an f/2.0 aperture for selfie & video calls. It comes with support for Dual SIM card slots & a dedicated MicroSD card slot and is backed by a 3,020 mah battery.

The listing indicates that Honor 8A is priced at 799 Yuan (~Rs. 8,000) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM while the 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant is priced at 999 Yuan(~Rs. 10,000). It will be available in three colour options i.e. Aurora Blue, Platinum Gold and Magic night black. At the moment, the phone will be only available for sale in China after the official launch.
