Huawei is expected to announce a new flagship device at a scheduled event on 26th February during the Mobile World Congress MWC 2017. We expect the flagship device to be the successor of Huawei P9, which is rumored as Huawei P10 and P10 Plus. We have already seen leaked alleged renders of P10 as recent as yesterday which indicate P10 may come in two variants with one variant having the fingerprint sensor at the front embedded in Home button, while the other variant has the fingerprint sensor at the back panel.
Today, a new device from Huawei subsidiary or sister brand Honor has just popped up on TENAA with a model name Honor DUK-TL30. The TENAA listing reveals all the technical specifications of the device along with design & build thanks to the images. Looking at the specifications, it seems to be an upgrade or successor of Honor 8 and may be the Honor 9 or Honor 8 plus. At the moment, we are not sure what the device would be named when it launches officially.
As per listing, Honor DUK-TL30 sports a 5.7-inch TFT QHD 2K display ( 2560 × 1440 pixels resolution), powered by a 2.4 GHz octa-core processor along with a whopping 6 GB of RAM that is slowly getting the norm with the flagship devices. The 2.4 GHz octa-core processor may be Huawei Kirin 960 processor, but we are not so sure at the moment. It comes with 128 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB and runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat based operating system.
In terms of camera, it comes with a dual camera setup of 12 MP + 2 MP sensors at the back and another 8 MP front shooter for selfies. It is backed by a 3900 mAh battery and comes with support for 4G LTE along with VOLTE. In terms of dimensions, it measures 157 × 77.5 × 6.97 mm and weights 184 grams. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear panel. It will be available in gold color option.
AT the moment we have no information on when Honor is going to launch this device officially. Even though Huawei is holding an event at MWC 2017, we expect a separate event under Honor for launching this device. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
