The Honor 9X launch date has been announced in China. The brand has been very quiet, in the budget phone segment for quite a while.
Honor 9X launch date
According to a post made by the company’s CEO, George Zhao, on Weibo, the phone is set to be revealed on July 23rd in China.
Huawei recently announced the Nova 5 series in its home turf about a few weeks ago. The Nova 5 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor, which happens to be a new octa-core chipset from the company.
According to some rumours, there is a variant of the Honor 9X, which will also be equipped with the same SoC. This will allegedly be the Honor 9X Pro.
Another leak indicates that the Honor 9X will sport a 6.15-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display, and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone will have dual rear cameras with a 20MP sensor and a 16MP lens. The selfie camera on the device is a 20MP shooter. The device will support 10W charging over a USB Type-C port.
We can’t say for sure these are the accurate specs, but we may see more leaks as we approach the Honor 9X launch date.
