A Honor Note 10 official teaser has been shared by the company on Weibo. And this move hints at an imminent launch.
The translated text from the poster says, no longer 9, 10 is here. It also clearly mentions the words “flagship Note 10”. Considering that this was posted on the company’s official social account, we can take it as gospel.
Interestingly, the company opted to skip the Note series last year.In fact, there is no Note 9. The predecessor of the Note 10 is actually the Note 8 which was launched in 2016. We think the Huawei owned company reconsidered its product line, after the emergence of phones with large displays in the 18:9 aspect ratio. It is not uprising for the Note series to make a comeback, considering that Huawei has been successful with its flagship Mate 9 and Mate 10 devices.
The outline of the device which can be seen in the Honor Note 10 official teaser, does seem to match with the chamfered edges, seen in a previous leak of the device just a week ago. If the outed design is true, the full-view display from the official poster is very misleading. The device has a massive bezel in the forehead.
Here’s what we know so far about the phone. The Note 10 is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 970 chipset, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone features a 6.9-inch 2K AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device sports 16MP dual lens with LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner on the rear. The phone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery, which is very unusual for a flagship phone.
Though the Honor Note 10 official teaser says that the launch is scheduled to be held in Beijing, no official date has been announced as of now. We will keep you posted when we hear more about the phone.
