The Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro have been announced in China. The devices come with 5G mobile wireless network support.
The V30 sports a 6.57 inches Full HD+ TFT LCD IPS display with a 96% NTSC Color Gamut, 91.46% screen ratio and 400 PPI pixel density. Since the display isn’t AMOLED, the phones are equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Honor V30 runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1. The device is powered by HUAWEI’s Kirin 990 octa-core processor with a Mali-G76 GPU, supports GPU Turbo, and an NPU. The Honor V30 will be available in 6GB/8GB RAM variants with 128GB/256GB storage.
The V30 is backed by a 4200mAh battery, and supports 40W super fast charge which can charge the phone to 100% in an hour. The Honor V30 Pro comes with a 4100mAh battery which supports 40W Super fast charge and also supports 27W Super Wireless Charge.
In the camera department, the V30 packs triple cameras with a 40 MP Sony IMX600 main camera that has an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens with an f/2.4 aperture and an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The cameras support Optical image stabilization, laser focus, phase focus and contrast focus.
The Honor V30 Pro has a slightly different setup with a 40MP Sony IMX600 with an f/1.6 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture and the same 8MP telephoto lens as the regular variant. Both devices have dual punch-hole selfie cameras consisting of a 32MP lens with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP lens with an f/2.2 aperture with a 105° field of view.

Honor V30 price in China
The Honor V30 has been priced at RMB 3,299 (about Rs. 33,000) in China for the 6GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB version will cost RMB 3,699 (about Rs. 37,000).
The Honor V30 Pro price starts at RMB 3,899 (about Rs. 39,000) for the 8GB/128GB model while the 8GB/256GB variant costs RMB 4,199 (about Rs. 42,000). The devices will be available in Black, Blue, Orange and Pearl White colours.
