HTC has officially announced the ETA for the Android 7.0 update for its current flagship, the HTC 10. The newest version of the mobile operating system, was launched by Google on August 22nd, and is currently only available on a few Nexus devices.
HTC says it has received the final version of Nougat from Google. This means that the Chinese OEM, is working on its custom version, Sense UI based on Android N.
HTC is the first OEM to declare the time period of Nougat’s arrival on its phone. The HTC 10 will get the Android 7.0 update in Q4 2016. It will be followed by the HTC One A9, and the HTC One M9. This not only applies to all unlocked variants of the devices, but also for the carrier locked variants as well.
