HTC has launched two new budget phones called, the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, and the HTC Desire 10 Pro. Let’s take a look at the what the devices have to offer.
The Desire 10 Lifestyle flaunts a 5.5 inch HD 720p Super LCD display, with 267 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top, and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. This matches what we reported previously.
The phone comes with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. A microSD card provides an option for expandable memory, which supports up to 2TB cards.
Photography options on the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle comprises of a 13 megapixel rear camera with autofocus, BSI sensor, an ƒ/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. The selfie lens on the phone is a 5 megapixel front camera with a BSI sensor, and an ƒ/2.8 aperture. The phone comes with HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio.
The Desire 10 Lifestyle is backed by a 2700 mAh battery which supports fast charging. The phone has dual SIM cards (Dual NANO), and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, micro-USB 2.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack.

HTC Desire 10 Pro:
The Desire 10 Pro sports a 5.5 inch Full HD 1080p IPS display, with 400 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top. It is powered by an octa-core 64-bit quad-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The device supports up to 2TB cards of expandable memory via a microSD card slot.
The phone features a rear placed fingerprint scanner, and the volume rocker on the side, can be used as a camera shutter button. Speaking of which, the camera department on the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle consists of a 20 megapixels camera with Laser Autofocus, BSI sensor, ƒ/2.2 aperture and LED Flash. The selfie lens on the device is a 13 megapixel front camera with autofocus, BSI sensor, and an ƒ/2.2 aperture.

The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle and the Desire 10 Pro have a matte finish body with chamfered edges and a metallic outline. The phones will be available in four colours: Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux.
The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle has been priced at £249, which is about Rs. 21,800. The device will be available in the UK from today. And with the rumoured $649 price tag for the Google Pixel phone, today seems to be “ridiculously overpriced HTC phones” day. Doesn’t it?
