We are a month away from 2016, and the unbelievable has happened, HTC has finally released the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for the Desire 820U in China.
The phone which was launched in 2014, with Android 4.4.2 KitKat, has finally received a major OS update, even if the OS is over a year old now.
The update was released recently in India, for the HTC Desire 820. The Chinese version of the Android 5.0 Lollipop Update for the HTC Desire 820U weighs a massive 841 MB, and is being seeded over the air.
HTC has already announced its Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update plans, and the Desire 820 (and hopefully the 820U), will be updated to the latest iteration of Google’s mobile operating system along with several other devices.
