After the successful launch of the HTC flagship Phone HTC one, the company has come up with another great model HTC Butterfly S which is almost like HTC one getting a bump in hardware along with an increase in Screen size. Butterfly S is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core, 1.9GHz processor with 5.0 inch Full HD 1080p, 440PPI Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display running the Android Jellybean 4.2(Hopefully).
Camera
In terms of camera, it comes with HTC UltraPixel Camera with BSI sensor, Pixel size 2.0 µm and Sensor size 1/3″ and 2.1 MP Front camera with wide angle lens alongwith HDR capability.
Storage
In terms of storage only 16 GB model is proposed along with the support for SD card whi8ch can be used to add SD Card storage upto 64 GB. Apart from this physical storage, it also offers a whopping 25 GB Dropbox storage free for 2 years on the cloud.
Weight
In terms of weight its a bit heavy if you compare it with HTC one and weighs 160 gm.
Battery
In terms of battery, the device is powered by a whopping 3200 mAh embedded rechargeable Li-polymer battery giving it great battery life. We are still to hear about the real life battery life, but 3200 mAh battery is good enough if you consider devices like Nexus 4 which come with 2600 mAh battery.
HTC Exclusives
Apart from all these, it comes with the usual HTC features like Blinkfeed and BoomSound.
Pricing and Availability
The pricing of the device is still not very clear. but is expected to debut in Taiwan in July for NT $22,900 (US $766). The availability and pricing for other parts of the world are yet to be announced.
Similarly the Pricing in India is yet to announced, but if we just convert the price in Taiwan to that in Indian rupees, the pricing in India for HTC Butterfly S comes approximately to about Rs 44,500 ( But actual pricing may be higher ).
