Two days ago, we reported about a leaked HTC Roadmap, which gave us the approximate ETA’s for the firmware updates for several of their devices.
But it appears that the Google Play Edition of the HTC One M7, and the M8 have already got the update.
The roadmap suggested that the GPE editions of HTC’s flagship phones of 2012 and 2013, would be arriving in July-August, we certainly didn’t think it would be this early.
The update brings improved performance, security, and a few bug fixes.
HTC have also promised to push Android L for their devices, within 90 days of the OS’s release date.
