Huawei just announced their latest flagship Honor 7 in India priced at Rs. 22,999 and will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting 15th October. The pricing of the Honor 7 puts it in direct competition with Oneplus 2 in India which is priced at Rs. 24,999.
Honor 7 comes with fully metallic body air-brushed with a ceramic coating giving it a premium finish. It sports a 5.2-inch full HD display and is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 935 processor along with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU and 3 GB RAM.
IN terms of storage, it comes with 16 GB of internal memory along with support for expandable memory up to 128 GB via micro SD
cards. It runs Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system with Huawei own Emotion UI 3.1 Huawei promised guaranteed upgrade to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
IN terms of camera, it comes with 20 MP main rear camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 6P lenses, dual-tone LED flash and 8 MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, BSI Sensor & LED flash. It also comes with IR blaster letting you use it as remote for various appliances.
It is powered by a 3100 mAh battery and also comes with reverse charging which lets you use Honor 7 as a power bank to charge any other smartphone. In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE/ 3G/ Wi-Fi.
It is equipped with frame-free metallic fingerprint scanner at the back portion and claimed to be much faster than any other fingerprint scanner available. Huawei claims that it will come embedded with Panic button and SOS feature also.
