Honor, the e-brand of Huawei has just announced a new flagship device Honor 9 at an event in China. Honor 9 comes in three variants with the different combination of RAM and internal storage with price starting at 2,299 Yuan for the standard variant.
Honor 9 sports a 5.15-inch full HD 1080p glass display with a pixel density of 428 PPI, powered by Huawei’s own Octa-Core Kirin 960 processor along with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microSD cards. It runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) based operating system with Emotion UI 5.1 on top of it.
In terms of camera, it features a dual camera setup with camera sensors of 20 MP (Monochrome) + 12 MP (RGB) with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, 4K video recording and another 8 MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Honor 9 includes Hybrid Dual SIM, Fingerprint sensor at the rear panel and Infrared sensor.
The phone is backed by a battery of 3,200 mAh which supports fast charging. It weighs just 155 grammes.
