Almost a week back, three variants of the upcoming smartphone alleged as Huawei Honor V8 got listed on TENAA giving us all the details on its hardware specifications and device images. The three variants that got listed came with model numbers KNT-AL20, KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10. These variants differed marginally in hardware specifications such as CPU and internal storage capacity.
Today one more variant of the Huawei Honor V8 is spotted on TENAA with model number KNT-UL10 which is basically a lower variant of Honor 8 with a 5.7 inch Full HD display instead of qHD display (2560 × 1440 resolution) which is the case with earlier models that got listed on TENAA. Apart from the screen resolution, the CPU powering the device is 2.3 GHz Octa-core processor instead of 2.5 GHz Octa-core CPU that powers the higher variants.
From all these listings on TENAA we can assume that Honor V8 may come with different variants with variation in Display, CPU and Internal storage capacity. Every other hardware specification remains the same for all the variants.
With all this information, we can safely speculate the hardware specifications of Huawei Honor V8. It sports a 5.7 inch qHD / FHD display and is powered by 2.5 GHz /2.3 GHz Octa-core CPU with 4 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system and comes with 32 / 64 GB of internal storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB.
In terms of camera, it comes with 12 MP main rear dual cameras with LED flash, but without the Leica lens that powered the Huawei P9 and a 8 MP front shooter. It is just 7.75 mm thin & weighs 170 grams, with a battery of 3400 mAh capacity.
