Few days back Huawei teased that they will launching Honor V8 on May 10 and today variants of Huawei V8 got listed on Chinese certification portal TENAA. The three variants that got listed are KNT-AL20, KNT-AL10 and KNT-TL10. All these variants are more or less same in terms of design and build yet vary a bit in hardware specifications such as CPU and internal storage capacity. The higher variant is powered by a 2.5 GHz Kirin 955 SoC, with 64GB of internal storage whereas the other variants are powered by a 2.3 GHz Kirin 950 SoC, with 32 GB of internal storage.
Huawei Honor V8 features a 5.7 inch qHD display (2560 × 1440 resolution) powered by 2.5 /2.3 GHz Octa-core CPU with 4 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system and comes with 32 / 64 GB of internal ROM / storage along with support for expandable storage via microsd card up to 128 GB.
In terms of camera, it comes with 12 MP main rear dual cameras with LED flash, but without the Leica lens that powered the Huawei P9 and a 8 MP front shooter.
It is just 7.75 mm thin & weighs 170 grams and is powered by a battery of 3400 mAh capacity.
This listing also proves our earlier assumption of Huawei Honor V8 to be same as Huawei VIE-AL10 wrong, which got listed on TENAA sometime back. We will try to analyse more cautiously in future.
We will keep tracking this for more. Stay tuned at Androidpure.
