Android 6.0 Marshmallow was just launched about three weeks ago, and OEMs are rushing to update their devices to the newest version of Google’s operating system.
And the latest to join on the bandwagon is Chinese manufacturer, Huawei.
The company has announced the list of devices which will be updated to EMUI 4.0 (Emotion UI) based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
- Huawei P8
- Huawei Mate 7
- Huawei Mate S
- Huawei P8 Youth Edition
- Huawei P8 Max
- Huawei Maimang 4 (Chinese G8)
- Huawei G7 Plus
- Huawei G7
- Honor 7
- Honor 7i
- Honor 6 Plus
- Honor 6
- Honor X2
- Honor 4X
- Honor Play 4C
Huawei will reportedly begin work on the update for the devices in November, but it is not clear when the update will actually roll out. Oh, and this list is apparently only for China, so the international variants aren’t confirmed to get the update yet, but we don’t see why they wouldn’t.
