Yesterday, we reported about some leaked Huawei Mate 20 Pro cases. Today a Huawei Mate 20 Pro official video teaser was shared by the company on Weibo, which indicates the design of the prior leak is accurate.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a rectangular camera array design. You can see it in the official video teaser during the end, reproduced below.
Here is the screenshot from the teaser video above which confirms the rectangular array.
There was another leak today, which we spotted and this shows that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro’s back houses 3 cameras and an LED Flash inside the rectangular camera array design. Seems the rumours about the phone having 4 cameras were incorrect.
It is worth nothing that the Leica logo, which was usually placed below the cameras, now sits next to the cameras. The Leica logo is also quite large, and there is a separate Huawei logo too.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro leaked render also confirms the Notch display design of the device. Notice how there is no fingerprint scanner on the phone’s back or front? Rumour has it that the device houses an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be officially announced on October 16th, at a launch event scheduled to be held in London. We will bring you more leaks, when we stumble upon them. Stay tuned.
