Huawei is yet to announce the Mate 20 Pro, but that didn’t stop a YouTuber from leaking the device. A Huawei Mate 20 Pro unboxing video appeared on the service today, but has since been taken down.
That didn’t stop us from capturing screenshots from the video, of course. And this is what the phone looks like.
There are no real surprises, as far of the design is concerned. The previously leaked notch display which we reported about, perfectly matches the design of the phone in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro unboxing video.
The device has an in-display fingerprint scanner, which seems to work even when the phone is asleep. So, you can wake up the device, by tapping the screen, after which a fingerprint icon appears. It does seem to read the print rather quickly, and unlocks the device to the homescreen, which you can see here.
This is a photo of the backpanel of the device, taken from the leaked Huawei Mate 20 Pro unboxing video. And it shows off the triple cameras and an LED Flash sitting in the square array design.
Here is a closer view of the cameras with the LEICA branding visible on the back panel.
The Mate 20 Pro will be launched on October 16th, along with the Huawei Mate 20X and the Mate 20.
