Rumor mills are rolling in full swing for the Huawei upcoming flagship smartphone i.e. Huawei Mate 9. We already have seen leaks and rumors indicating the possible dual cameras of the device, a brief portion of its technical specifications, alleged renders of the device and super charge technology.
A new rumor spotted on Weibo today suggests Mate 9 may feature main rear dual camera setup from Leica with camera sensors of 12 MP and 20 MP. The rumor also talks about the super charge technology which can charge the smartphone to 50% in just five minutes. It is expected to come with a 8 MP front shooter for selfies.
Earlier rumors and leaks suggest that Mate 9 sports 5.9-inch QHD 2K display powered by HiSilicon Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor along with two RAM variants of 4 GB & 6 GB along with 64 GB internal storage. Huawei is expected to unveil HiSilicon Kirin 960 during an event on October 19. When it comes to launch date of Mate 9, earlier rumors suggest that it may be unveiled on November 18.
Huawei Mate 8 on the other hand sports a 6 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by HiSilicon Kirin 950 along with 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal storage. It comes with a 16 MP main rear camera and 4000 mAh battery.
