Rumor mills around Huawei Mate 9 has started to roll steadily even though the official launch is not even announced by the company. Just few days back, alleged Huawei Mate 9 leaked render suggested Kirin 960 CPU & dual 20 MP cameras powering the next flagship from the company. At the moment, we do not know much about the hardware specifications of Huawei Mate 9 except the rumored Kirin 960 SOC and the dual camera setup.
Today a new rumor on Weibo suggests that Huawei Mate 9 will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, November 8 2016. If you remember, Huawei Mate 8 was also launched in November last year. The rumor also suggests different variants of Mate 9 with respect to RAM + Storage combinations along with possible price i.e.
- 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM : 3399 Yuan
- 4 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM : 3899 Yuan
- 6 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM : 4699 Yuan
Based on the earlier rumors and leaks, Huawei Mate 9 may sport a 5.9-inch QHD 2K display powered by Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor along with two RAM variants of 4 GB and 6 GB.
Huawei Mate 8 on the other hand sports a 6 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by HiSilicon Kirin 950 along with 3 GB / 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB internal storage. It comes with a 16 MP main rear camera and backed by a 4000 mAh battery.
