Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be launched on November 3 during the scheduled event in China. Earlier rumors pointed that two Mate 9 flagship devices will be launched, one with the flat surface and other with curved edge display. Later we also heard that curved edge display may not be launched on November 3. Renders of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also got leaked showing the device in full glory.
Today a new set of alleged images of Huawei Mate 9 have surfaced online revealing the flagship in full glory. These images match with earlier leaked renders. We can see the device in powered on condition with Home screen with Huawei written at bottom below the onscreen navigation buttons. There are no physical navigation buttons present.
The dual camera setup with LEICA camera sensors with dual tone LED flash & Laser autofocus is clearly visible along with fingerprint sensor located just below it. The Antenna lines are clearly visible at top and bottom of the back panel. The Huawei logo is present at the bottom of the back panel. The metallic build with gold color is clearly visible.
Based on leaks and rumors till date, Mate 9 sports a 5.9 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 960 chipset with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage. It comes with 12 MP dual camera setup and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt till Nov 3 official launch. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
Update
Leakster @stagueve refutes these render images and suggest that these are photoshopped images of ZTE Axon 7 Max.
Nope, this is NOT #Huawei's #Mate9 but #ZTE's Axon 7 Max with very, very, very badly photoshopped logo added on the back… #LOLeak #n00b pic.twitter.com/VteuZXDNxX
