Huawei announced two new smartphones Nova and Nova Plus during the IFA 2016 event in Berlin. The company has finally launched one of these two devices i.e. Huawei Nova, at an event in China. Nova Plus is yet to be launched and company made no announcements about the plus variant. During IFA 2016, the company had launched only a 3 GB RAM variant of Nova, but today a 4 GB RAM variant is also launched. Apart from the difference in RAM, the two variants also vary in terms of internal storage i.e. 32 GB and 64 GB.
Huawei Nova is a compact device and sports a 5 inch full HD 1080p display, powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in two variants of 3 GB + 32 GB and 4 GB + 64 GB variants. It comes with support for expandable storage via microsd card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system.
In terms of camera, it features a 12 MP rear camera with LED flash, PDAF, 1.25-micron pixel size and a 8 MP front-shooter with f/2.0 aperture for selfies. It is just 7.1 mm thick and weighs 146 grams. It comes with hybrid dual sim slot and a fingerprint sensor at the back. It is backed by a battery of 3,020 mAh.

At the moment, it is launched only in China. The 3GB + 32 GB variant of Nova is priced at 2099 Yuan, whereas the 4 GB + 64 GB variant is priced at 2399 Yuan. There is no information about Nova launching in other countries such as India.
