Yesterday, we reported about the Huawei Nova 3, which was leaked on TENAA. And now the company has officially announced the launch date of the device, along with its next wearable, the Talkband B5.
The Huawei Nova 3 and Talkband B5 will be launched on July 18 in China, according to a post shared by the company on Weibo.
We did see a prior render of the wearable, thanks to evleaks. And the Huawei Talkband B5 isn’t your average wrist band, it is actually a Bluetooth headset with a display on one side, which acts as a smartwatch. So, if you get a call you can detach the headset and use it to talk, hence the name, Talkband. During regular usage, the watch displays the time, date, weather, step count, notifications from your Android phone which it syncs using Bluetooth.
The buttons on the side of the watch, clearly indicate that the display is not a touchscreen panel. The Talkband B5 will likely be available in 2 colours: Gold with a Brown leather strap, and Silver with a metal band. While the Talkband is not visible in its original design, for some reason, the Nova 3 is. In fact, all three colour variants from the previous leak are featured in the poster.
And here is a recap of the Huawei Nova 3 technical specifications. The phone has four cameras, 2 for selfies (24MP and 2MP) and 2 main cameras (24MP and 16MP). The Nova 3 flaunts a massive 6.3-inch display with as resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels in the 19:5:9 aspect ratio.
The phone is powered by an octa-core 2.36GHz processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The microSD card slot option allows you to expand the memory up to 256GB. The device runs on Android Oreo 8.1, and packs a 3650mAh battery. The Nova 3 will be available in 3 colours: Gold, Blue and Pink.
