Huawei launched Nova and Nova Plus smartphone last year during the IFA 2016 event in Berlin followed by the launch in China with two variants of 3 GB and 4 GB RAM variant, with 3GB + 32 GB variant priced at 2099 Yuan, whereas 4 GB + 64 GB variant at 2399 Yuan.
They came with a metal body, fingerprint scanner, a 8 MP front shooter, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. Out of the these, Nova is the compact one with 5″ full HD 1080p display backed by 3020 mAh battery whereas Nova Plus is a bigger one with 5.5 inch full HD 1080p display backed by 3340 mAh battery.
Today, a new variant of the device under name of Huawei Nova Lite has leaked in the form of device renders. The renders show on-screen navigation buttons instead of the physical capacitive menu buttons at the front which differs from the existing variants. On the back, we can see the fingerprint sensor with main rear camera along with LED flash at one side and Huawei branding at the bottom.
We can see at least three color variants of Nova Lite i.e. Black, Silver and Gold color options. The design seems to have graduated to a more flat back panel, whereas the earlier variants came with curved edges at the sides of back panel. NO Antenna lines are visible at the back.
At the moment, we have no information about the technical specifications of Huawei Nova Lite, but we assume it to be similar to the earlier variants with slight downgrade / modifications. The device may be priced lower than 2299 Yuan. The official launch may happen soon if the leaked renders are credible.
As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
