The Huawei P30 launch date has just been revealed. But the event is not scheduled for where you may think it will be.
Huawei P30 launch date
The company has announced via a teaser video posted on Twitter, that the flagship phone is set to be unveiled in Paris, on March 26th. That’s a whole month after the MWC tech show in Barcelona.
Perhaps it is for the best, since the spotlight won’t be stolen by phones like the Galaxy S10 and Xiaomi Mi 9. The Huawei P30 teaser video features a bunch of Parisian landmarks, and a zoom effect. This could be a hint that the device may have some serious optical zoom power.
In fact, that is what we reported in a previous leak back in January. The Huawei P30 is equipped with three cameras, one of which is a 40MP RGB Sony sensor which has 5x optical zoom, accompanied by 20MP and 5MP sensors. The front camera is a 24MP selfie lens.
The Huawei P30 will be powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, with 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of storage. The phone runs EMUI based on Android 9 Pie, and flaunts a 6.0-inch OLED display with a water-drop notch. Here’s what the phone looks like.
With over a month to go for the Huawei P30 launch date, there is a good chance that more leaks could happen. So, stay tuned to our blog, while we’ll keep a weather eye out for more news about the device.
