Huawei P9 and P9 Plus with dual camera was launched in April 2016 this year and at the moment hold the flagship tag for the company. A new set of images are spotted which are allegedly Huawei p9 plus pre-release test version or prototype with a mock-up name “AMIT” instead of Huawei. A total of six images are leaked which are closeup shots of the alleged Huawei P9 Plus revealing all the design and build quality details.
The images reveal a dual camera setup with dual LED flash at the back panel similar to Huawei P9, a fingerprint sensor and something that we have never seen in any Huawei smartphone but only in Motorola Moto Z. We can see six magnetic pins at the bottom of the back that we usually see in Moto Z for adding the modular accessories. Apart from the six magnetic pins at the back, we can see another six magnetic pins at the front display bottom on the bezels. We are not sure what these pins are for, but we may assume something similar like adding modular accessories like Moto Z. We can even see a Model number at the bottom i.e. A169-109 with a “Made in China” tag.
On the front display, we can see the same mock-up name “AMIT” next to the magnetic pins at bottom and a front shooter at the top. One of the images shows the lock screen of the device in powered on condition.
At the moment, these images doesn’t reveal any details about the technical specifications of Huawei P9 plus. It just a prototype and final product may be very different or it may not even reach to the final product stage.
