The Huawei Y5 II, technical specifications and press render images leaked ahead of its official debut.
The successor to the Y5 from last year, will sport a 5-inch HD 720p screen, and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Huawei’s EMUI 3.1.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT6735P chipset with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and 1GB of RAM. The device has 8GB of internal storage, features a 2-megapixel front camera, and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The Huawei Y5 II was backed by a 2200mAh battery. The device weighs 135g and will be available in 6 colors: obsidian black, arctic, white, sand gold, rose pink, and sky blue.
According to VentureBeat‘s Evan Blass, the Huawei Y5 II will be launched sometime in the second quarter, with a price tag similar to that of its predecessor, i.e., around $165.
