Infocus has just launched InFocus M680, another mid range budget smartphone priced at Rs. 10,999 which comes with full metal body. The scenario for budget smartphones is changing and slowly manufacturers are bring metal build to these affordable devices.
InFocus M680 comes with a full metal body and sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display from Sharp / AUO with a pixel density of 401 ppi. It is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core 64-bit MT6753 MediaTek processor & Mali-T720 MP2 GPU with 2 GB of RAM.
It comes with 16 GB internal memory along with support for expandable memory up to 64 GB via microSD card. A small catch here is, it comes with a Hybrid Dual SIM slow (nano + nano / microSD) which means that second slot can either be used for second SIM or for a microSd card, but not both simultaneously.
M860 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and the company says it is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future.
It also comes two 13 MP cameras both at the front and rear. Both cameras comes with f/2.2 aperture, Samsung 3M2 sensor and 1080p video recording, whereas only main rear camera comes with LED Flash.
It is just 7.25 mm in thickness and weighs 158 gms.
In terms of connectivity, it supports 4G LTE (TDD-LTE band 40 & FDD-LTE band 3)/ 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The device is backed by a decent 2600 mAh battery. It includes sensors such as AL/Proximity sensor, G-sensor, E-compass. It also supports FM Radio and USB OTG.
InFocus M680 will be available exclusively on Snapdeal in Gold & Silver color. Registration for the same starts from 14th December, 2015 and it goes on sale starting 21st December, 2015.
