Thanks to devloper DroidVicious, you can now flash or Install Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on your Glaxy Nexus device. Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) ROMs for GSM And Verizon Galaxy Nexuses are available on the web and you can just download the ROM and flash it on your Glaxy Nexus just like any other ROM using ClockWorkMod recovery.
Downloads:
You need to download the Jelly Bean ROm and the Super SU zip files before you can start flashing them. Just download them using the links below and save them on your Galaxy Nexus device at a location that can be easily accessible to you while browsing in ClockwordMod recovery.
Installation / Flash Instructions:
- Make a nandroid backup
- Wipe data / factory reset
- Wipe cache partition
- Wipe dalvik cache
- Flash JellyBean 4.1 ROM that you download just now to your Galaxy Nexus
- Flash SuperSU zip
- Reboot and ENJOY Jelly Bean
Keep in mind that this Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ROM is just a Stock ROM with no additional features that come with ROMs like Cyanogenmod ROMs.
