Cyanogenmod is probably the coolest custom ROM ever made. Not just because it is based on AOSP, but also because it includes some very useful apps like Trebuchet Launcher and Apollo (Eleven) Music Player.
The majority of Android users do not root their phones or flash ROMs, in fear of voiding their warranties, or simply because they are new to it. But, how about getting the apps from Cyanogenmod on your Android device without rooting it?
Of course, you may find the APKs of the apps at various portals, but can you find them all from one single link or app? Here’s how you do it.
A developer at XDA has created an app called Cyanogenmod Apps or CM Apps, which in turn will download the APK (Installers) of the following CM Apps on your device and install them:
I have listed some of the more common names, that users will be familiar with, inside the parenthesis.
- Apollo (Eleven Music Player)
- Camera Next
- Camera
- Clock widget
- DSP Manager (Audio Effects)
- File Manager (File Explorer)
- Sound Recorder
- Calculator
- Torch (Flashlight)
- Trebuchet (Launcher)
- Wallpapers
And here is the best part, the developer has published the CM Apps at Google Play. So all you need to do is hit the link below to head to the Play Store and hit the install button.

Once it is installed run the app, and select any CM app you wish to download, which it will install once the APK file is ready. Here are some screenshots of the app in action, check out the Material Design.
The CM Apps application is ad-supported, but you can disable the ads from the settings for free, should you choose to. The app works on any device running Android 4.2 or above.
