Vivo’s iQOO is all set to announce the iQOO Z5 5G in China this week. And it appears that the phone’s India launch isn’t too far away, the device will debut in our Country on September 27th.
Just like the iQOO Z3, the upcoming device is a mid-range handset. According to some teaser images shared by the company on Weibo, the Z5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 5G mobile platform. The octa-core processor supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The iQOO Z5 is backed by a 5000mAh battery. The image also shows the front panel’s design, the device has a large display with narrow bezels, and a hole-punch selfie camera.
Speaking of which, the screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz, and supports HDR10 content.
The screen has been rated by TÜV Rheinland, and supports DCI-P3 color gamut.
Another teaser mage confirms that the iQOO Z5 5G features stereo speakers, with support for Hi-Res audio, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio. The phone will be available via Amazon India.
Coincidentally, this will be the first of 2 phones that are launching this month, that have the same Snapdragon 778G 5G processor. The other device that has it, is the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, and it is scheduled to be launched a day later in India, on September 28th.
