Barry Steakfries fans, rejoice! Halfbrick have updated the Android version of Jetpack Joyride to bring loads of new content.
The new additions include new costumes, jetpacks and a brand new vehicle, a Jet Ski.
The Jet Ski is called The Wave Rider, and allows you to travel on the water in style. Flash has his own little Ski too.
Unfortunately the Jet Ski isn’t free for now, it costs $4.99. But if you wait for 4 days it will be free.
I am not sure what the monetization plan behind this is.
And there are rolling inventories, so you can grab certain items, such as Jetpacks, costumes, etc for a limited time until they are changed.
They rollout new items every Friday and it will take a 22 week cycle for a complete loop. Just make sure to play the game with an active internet connection to get the new items every week. All items which you by are permanent and will remain in your inventory.
