No, it is not a new version of their password manager, but one that will assist the existing one.
Meet the all new LastPass Authenticator, a new two-factor authentication app for your LastPass account and other services. The app can generate 6-digit codes every 30 seconds, to allow you to authenticate your logins. It also supports push notifications for one-tap approval, SMS codes, and also works with multiple accounts. Yes, LastPass Authenticator supports other Google Authenticator or TOTP-based two-factor authentication services, just like Google’s App and Authy do.
