LAVA Pixel V1, the 2nd Gen Android One phone has been officially launched in India.
Google has dumped its three partners, who launched the first gen Android One phones last year (Micromax, Karbonn, and Spice), in favour of LAVA.
The LAVA Pixel V1 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, will be updated to the latest version of Android, when Google releases it.
The phone is powered by a 64-bit 1.3 GHz Mediatek MT6582 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The device comes with a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS Display, with 267 ppi, and is protected by DragonTrail Glass (No Gorilla Glass), and an oleophobic anti-smudge coating.
The LAVA Pixel V1 has 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded to an additional 32GB via micro SD. The phone sports a 13 Megapixel rear camera on the rear with an f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 micron-pixel, while the front camera is an 8 Megapixel lens with f/2.4 aperture.
The Pixel V1 is backed by a 2,560 mAh battery and supports Dual SIM cards.
