Lenovo has announced that it sold 1 million 4G enabled phones this year.
The phones sold include the Lenovo A6000, A6000 plus and A7000.
This is quite an accomplishment considering the fact that June isn’t over yet, and also the A6000 only debuted in late January. So Lenovo has sold 10,00,000 4G phones in just about five months. Apparently the number of 4G LTE devices sold in India had increased by 108% to 2.2 million units, in the 1st quarter of 2015 (January-March)
Lenovo says that its partnership with online retailer, Flipkart, made it possible to sell their phones in over 1000 cities and downs across the Country. Apart from selling their devices in metros, Lenovo says it has seen a rise in sales in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh.
