The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has officially been unveiled in India.
So why exactly is the company launching a new phone in the K series, just 2 months after launching the Lenovo K4 Note in India? We reached out to Anuj Sharma, the head of product marketing at Lenovo phones in India, and also to Nimish Dubey, who is a tech journalist for the Indian Express, for clarification.
@nimishdubey @avinashiitd the K series is our online series. Within that there are multiple phones for different segments

It appears that the Vibe K5 Plus is a successor to the A6000+, but has been named as part of the Note series, which is a bit odd for a 5-inch device. The phone is the same as the one which was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2016, last month.
