The latest trend in smartphone from different brands is moving towards devices with maximum screen to body ratio as much close to 100%. Xiaomi has managed to offer Mi Mix series of smartphones with maximum screen to body ratio. It appears that Lenovo is also working on bringing something similar though we are not sure if this new upcoming device will come under Lenovo brand or the Motorola brand?
Lenovo Group Vice president Chang Cheng has teased a new upcoming “Full Screen” smartphone with a screen to body ratio more than 95% with no bezels at sides and the top of the screen. Have a look at the teaser:
The image is teased from the official Weibo account which comes with a small poll kind of message as follows (We have translated it from Chinese):
“(i) about what is really a full screen
A. Screen accounted for 80%-84%
B. Screen Ratio 85%-89%
C. Screen Ratio 90%-94%
d.xx sum 95% Technical to break through the screen/screen and front/antenna air intake Three major problems may be 95%.
Tell me which one is your favorite [haha] We’re just going to do it. @ Millet Mobile phone to collect the full text ”
This also talks about Xiaomi full screeb phones ( not an exact translation) and appears to be teasing the Xiaomi phones for not achieving better screen to body ratio (though we are not fully sure, thanks to absurd machine translation).
The teaser of the smartphone only shows a small portion and not the full front display, yet it reveals an important information about the possible official launch date i.e. June 14. At the moment, we have no clue on the name of the device or its hardware specifications. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
