Lenovo Z5s was expected to launch officially on December 6, but it turns out that it didn’t and now we have a new date. The earlier launch teaser was an official one with the 6th December date (that clearly stated the new EDGE coming on Dec 6)and it seems Lenovo is not done with playing tricks with us which started with Lenovo Z5 fiasco. A new launch teaser is released by Lenovo Vice President which indicates that Lenovo Z5s will now officially launch on December 18 in China. The launch teaser also reveal the triple camera at rear aligned vertically on the top left.

Lenovo Z5s with Camera hole to officially launch on 6 December (turns out to be false)
It appears that brands are competing to launch the first smartphone with the camera hole in the display, before the everyone else this month. After Huawei announced the Nova 4 official launch for December 17, Samsung followed by announcing the Galaxy A8s launch on December 10 and today, Lenovo has announced the launch date for Lenovo Z5s for December 6. Lenovo Z5s features a triple camera module at the rear and comes with the camera hole in the display for the selfie camera.

Lenovo Z5s with Triple camera to officially launch in December
Lenovo has officially confirmed that Lenovo Z5s will be unveiled in China this month i.e. December 2018. We have already seen Lenovo Z5s listing on Chinese certification portal TENAA which revealed all the hardware specifications and design of the smartphone including the Renders of the device. The official launch teaser is released by Lenovo Official Weibo handle which unfortunately doesn’t reveal the exact launch date but just the month i.e. December.
Apart from this launch teaser, another teaser is released by the company’s vice president which reveal the side view of the sleek smartphone but doesn’t reveal any other detail. Have a look:
We can see the Volume rocker and Power buttons at the sides while a slight bump for the rear camera module is visible.

Lenovo Z5s with Triple camera officially confirmed
A new smartphone from Lenovo has surfaced on Chinese certification agency TENAA with triple camera setup similar to what we have seen in Huawei P20 Pro. The listing on TENAA didn’t specify the name of the smartphone but came with a model number Lenovo L78071 along with the phone images from the front, back and sides. The listing also revealed some hardware specifications of the phone, though it was much less than the full detailed listing.
The name of the smartphone is now confirmed by the Chang Cheng, the vice president of Lenovo Group who made the announced on his Weibo handle in response to a user asking if they would call it P20 Pro or something else. Chang Cheng responded and confirmed that the new triple camera smartphone from Lenovo will be the Lenovo Z5s. The Vice President though has not revealed any details about the possible launch date of the same.
Lenovo Z5 Pro is the last device in Z series and comes with an incredible 95% screen to body ratio & sliding screen design. Lenovo Z5 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor along with 6GB of RAM & 64GB/128GB internal storage. It runs on ZUI 10, which is based on Android Oreo 8.1.
The front cameras on the phone consist of a 16MP camera and an 8MP lens which supports infrared face unlock. The primary cameras on the Lenovo Z5 Pro are a 16MP Sony IMX 576 lens and a 24MP Sony IMX 519 sensor. The device is backed by a 3,350 mAh battery, which charges over USB Type-C. Unfortunately, the Lenovo Z5 Pro does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
