Lenovo subsidiary ZUK may be planning to announce a new flagship smartphone “ZUK Edge” soon. ZUK is known for making flagship devices with high-end specs at affordable price. ZUK Z2 is one of the cheapest Snapdragon 820 flagship smartphones available today, whereas ZUK Z2 Pro goes one step ahead with 6GB of RAM.The reference for new ZUK Edge comes from none other than Chang Cheng, the head of ZUK through his Weibo account, in the form of some poster material with the name of the device printed on it.
These three images( in different colors, we have reproduced one above) only confirm existence of the device without revealing anything else, but looking at the description with the image indicates that it is already in production stage and may be set for launch pretty soon.
A new device from ZUK under model number Z2151 is already listed on TENAA which is expected to be the ZUK Edge and reveals all the technical specifications of the device. As per TENAA listing, it comes with 5.5 inch 1080p full HD dual edge curved display, powered by 2.35 GHz Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based operating system with ZUI on top of it. in terms of camera, it features a 13 MP main rear camera that can shoot 4K video and a 8 MP front shooter. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery.
