LG has announced it will unveil four new mid-range smartphones, which support 4G LTE networks, at the MWC 2015 (Mobile World Congress).
But the company has already announced the technical specifications of the phones.
The four devices are the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. The Magna and Spirit have a curved design to offer a comfortable fit in the user’s palm, and has In-cell touch displays, which offer improved sensitivity with faster touch recognition, better outdoor visibility and crisper images. All four devices will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, with popular UX features seen in its premium lineup, like Gesture Shot and Glance View.

The LG Magna, which means “ultimate” in Latin, features a 5-inch in-cell touch HD display with a pixel density of 294 ppi, and is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage, and a 2,540mAh removable battery. It sports an 8-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel front shooter.

The LG Spirit sports a 4.7-inch in-cell touch HD display with a pixel density of 312 ppi, and will be powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, and packs a 2,100mAh removable battery. It will feature an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1 megapixel front camera. It has slimmer bezels than the Magna.

The LG Leon, “lion” in Latin, features a 4.5-inch FWVGA with a pixel density of 220 ppi), and runs on a 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor, backed by 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage, and packs a 1,900mAh removable battery. It comes with an 8 megapixel main camera and a VGA front camera.

The LG Joy, is the smallest of the four, with a 4-inch WVGA Display with 233 ppi. It will be powered by an 1.2GHz Quad-Core with 1GB of RAM. IT has 8GB of Internal storage, and sports a 5 megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. It is backed by a 1,900mAh removable battery.

The four devices will be available in LTE and 3G versions, depending on the region. The LTE devices will have metallic back covers, while the 3G variants will sport patterned plastic back covers.
LG’s new mid-range collection will be available globally this week in select markets.
