LG has launched a new tablet called the LG G Pad 8.3, in South Korea.
The device sports an 8.3″ Full HD display, which supports a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The G Pad 8.3 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 405. The device has 16GB of internal storage, and comes with a microSD card slot which supports upto 2TB of expandable memory.
The tablet features an 8 megapixel rear camera, and a 2 megapixel front camera. The G Pad 8.3 is backed by a 4800 mAh battery. The device features a brushed metal texture on the rear, measures at 216.8mm x 126.5mm x 8.8mm and weighs at 366 g, which is quite bit heavy. The tablet supports 4G LTE networks, and comes with a free stylus.
There is no word about a global launch of the LG G Pad 8.3 just yet.
