LG is set to announce its next flagship device LG G6 during the Mobile World Congress MWC on February 26. LG G5 was launched last year with a modular design, but that failed to make the desired impact in the smartphone market and the company is now rumored to get rid of modular design for LG G6.
LG G6 is rumoured to sport a large 5.7-inch display with an odd aspect ratio of 2:1 with emphasis on minimal bezels with screen-to-bezel ratio greater than 90 percent and a dual camera setup at the back panel. Almost every brand is trying to get rid of bezels as much as possible, thanks to the trend started by Xiaomi Mi Mix, which comes with zero bezels at the top & sides.
Today an alleged render of LG G6 has leaked on the web which shows the full front display of the upcoming flagship device. The render shows the thin bezels at the top and bottom similar to what we have seen for Samsung Galaxy S8 and perhaps LG won’t stay behind Samsung in killing the bezels on their flagship smartphone. The Antenna lines can be seen at the top and bottom of the back panel. The LG logo is visible at the bottom of the front display with very thin bezels. Similar, we can see there is no home button just as G5, yet fingerprint sensor may be at the back which is also the case with G5.
At the moment, not much can be said about the device unless we know the full technical specifications of the device. As with any other leak, take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
