LG just can’t stop showing off the features of its upcoming flagship phone, the LG G4.
Last week, the company launched a new 5.5-inch QHD display, and subtly hinted that it will feature in a phone “we are launching at the end of this month”.
The rest is obvious, since we know that the LG G4 is scheduled for launch on April 28th.
Now, the company has announced the new interface which will feature on the G4. It is called the LG UX 4.0, and is reportedly user-friendly as well as customizable.
The UX 4.0 has some special camera features like Quick Shot, which opens the camera app when you double click the volume button on the back. (Oh yeah!, the rear volume buttons are back.) Expert Camera Mode has some advanced settings, like those found in DSLR cameras. The Gallery app is smarter, and automatically groups your photos into an album.
Here are some more new features of LG UX 4.0:
Smart Board – A widget which displays information collected from calendar, music, and health apps.
Smart Alert – A Notification system, which sends you customized notifications by learning about your lifestyle.
For example, Smart Alert will display a notification suggesting that you can go out and play, if you like to play sports, and if the current outside weather is suitable.
