LG has introduced 2 new phones in India. Meet the LG Wing and the LG Velvet.
LG Wing
The LG Wing is powered by a 2.4 GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, and supports upto 2TB of additional memory via a microSD card slot.
The phone runs on Android 10, and is backed by a 4000mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0+ over a USB Type-C port. The LG Wing has dual screens, the primary display is a 6.8-inches Full HD+ OLED panel while the secondary screen is a 3.9-inches OLED Swivel Display. The handset is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The selfie lens is a 32MP Motorized pop-up camera with an f/1.9 aperture.
The main camera setup on the LG Wing comprises a 64MP primary lens with an f/1.8 aperture, Phase Detect AutoFocus, Optical Image stabilization, a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 117˚ FOV, an f/1.9 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide lens with an 120˚ FOV, an f/2.2 aperture and an LED Flash. The LG Wing price in India has been set at Rs. 69,999. The phone comes in a single colour: Illusion sky, and will be available from November 9th.
LG Velvet
The LG Velvet sports a 6.8-inches Full HD+ P-OLED display with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio. It supports an attachable second screen accessory similar to the LG G8X. The second screen is sold separately, and can be used as a game pad, multitasking, as a virtual keyboard, and more. The cover has a hinge which lets you use the phone in laptop mode, cover mode, stand mode.
The LG Velvet Dual Screen accessory has a cover display that can show the time, notifications, etc.
The handset has an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a water-drop notch with a 16MP selfie camera and an f/1.9 aperture.
The device runs on Android 10 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz, with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and supports 2TB of expandable memory via a microSD card slot.
The LG Velvet has triple cameras on the back with a 48MP primary lens, an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with an 120°, an f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and an LED Flash.
The device supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity options. It is backed by a 4300mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 4.0+ over a USB Type-C connector.
