The Android Distribution Numbers for the week ending on June 1st, shows that Lollipop now runs on 12.4% of devices.
It sees a 2.7% increase, from its previously reported stats of 9.7% for the week ending on May 4th.
KitKat’s numbers continues to drop, as the Android 4.4 OS now runs on 39.2% of devices, a 0.6% reduction from last month’s numbers. JellyBean’s versions still runs on 37.4% of devices.
Ice Cream Sandwich, Gingerbread saw their numbers fall by a mere 0.1 and 0.2 percent respectively, while Froyo surprisingly continues to hold on to 0.3%.
Android M is already out for four Nexus devices, but it was only released as a developer preview a few days ago. It is unlikely to appear in the Dashboard stats until Google releases the source code for the new OS.
