Just yesterday we reported the leak of alleged Meizu E series smartphone with EDGE Display and Dual Cameras. Today we have an official launch date of Meizu E series thanks to an official teaser by Meizu. Meizu has just released an official teaser which talks about a scheduled event on 10th August in China.
The teaser from the company puts a big bold “E” mark along with the date and we assume the “E” mark indicates the Meizu E series where E stands for “Edge” display i.e. a curved screen smartphone. We already reported on alleged images of the same curved display phone from the company. The event will be held at Beijing National Convention Center at 10:00 AM.
Based on earlier leaks, it is powered by an Exynos 8890 processor, sports a full metal body and features dual cameras on the rear. It has a USB Type-c port on the bottom, and a physical home button on the front panel with fingerprint scanner integrated.
At the moment, we have no more specific details about the E series. As with every leak, take this with a grain of salt. Stay tuned at Androidpure and we will keep you updated.
